I don’t know what Myparkmag.com is talking about, but they are reporting that Robert Pattinson fights Shia via words. Pattinson is quoted as saying….

“It’s amusing to find myself in the same conversation as stars like Shia LaBeouf for a role in a Gladiator-style period film.”

It seems like the site is making it look like Pattinson is insulting Shia, but I didn’t take it that way. I took it as Pattinson thinks it’s weird to be in the same conversation as Shia. I think the site flipped that around. The site also insults Shia by stating:

“Robert Pattinson could soon be stealing roles from Transformers star Shia LaBeouf. It is thought that Shia is no longer hot enough and movie producers might choose to cast Twilight star Robert Pattinson instead.”

Pattinson has been in Harry Potter, and Twilight. Both movies were destined to do very well because of the fan base from another media format…books. I would have never seen Disturbia, or Eagle Eye if Shia wasn’t in them. Shia attracts people to the theaters. Shia will still be an A-List star, and I don’t think Pattinson will be a threat to Shia’s career.

USA Today has revealed a possible plot point in Transformers :Revenge of the Fallen. These are new detailed plot angles about Shia’s character Sam. If the plot details are true, they are really awesome. These sound about right, if you look back at the youtube video that surfaced in September about Sam’s character.

Note: This should be seen as a rumor, because Bay had said he would be leaking fake information out on the web. So, please take this as a rumor for now.

UPDATE: Ok here’s the dillio. Yes I just said dillio, and  I probably spelled it wrong. Some stores are putting Eagle Eye out on shelves tonight. While other stores are putting it out on their shelves tomorrow. As far as I know,any stores that put Eagle Eye out before today had done it illegally.So lucky you to all that purchased it already. So depending on where you are… Eagle Eye is out tonight, or tomorrow, or the 28th. This has been the most confusing DVD release ever.

I know for a fact that Blockbuster and Hollywood Video have the DVD for rent and for Purchase as of 6p.m. tonight.

Shia is on “Stars of David: A-Listers Do Chanukah” list. He’s number 12.

Let’s start this post with the most crucial point: this rumor comes to us from The Sun, not exactly known as a bastion of accuracy.  Nevertheless, the word is starting to spread, so here we go: rumor has it that Shia has signed to play Robin in the next Batman film.
Still waiting for (reputable) independent confirmation of this.  Thanks to everyone who sent it in, though!

Shia has taken the #6 spot on IMDb’s list of the top 25 stars of 2008.

Michael Bay has officially updated us fans about the promotional move for Transformers 2.

“First there will be a teaser poster soon after the new year, and the teaser trailer will be out either in the theaters early Feb. or on the Superbowl. Cannot decide yet. I’m going to release some set stills on this site in a few weeks. I’ll keep you informed.”

So, we won’t know much about Transformers until after January.

According to MSNBC, Shia is going in for a second surgery on his hand. So it looks like he might be in a splint for a while longer…

A lot of celebrity websites are claiming that Shia was pulled from Dark Fields, because his hand is “Crushed”. Don’t believe this one bit. We posted this a few months ago. The director of Dark Fields stated, that after Shia filmed TF2, Shia was going to take a month off from acting. This was probably too long for the director, so he pulled Shia from the project. It was never a definite role for Shia anyway. I just wanted to clear that up.

It is rumored that Transformer: Revenge of the Fallen teaser trailer will debut in front of The Day the Earth Stood Still, which will be released December 12th. That’s this coming Friday. If this is true, we may get to see Shia in action once again.

Fox News is reporting that Shia has been forced to drop out of The Dark Fields because his hand hasn’t healed yet. No independent confirmation yet, though.

According to Variety, Shia has been tapped to star in the film version of John Grisham’s latest legal thriller, The Associate. According to the site, “LaBeouf will play a student who’s about to graduate from Yale Law School when he’s manipulated into accepting a job at a prestige law firm and given privileged information about a multibillion-dollar lawsuit.”

Just Jared has pictures of Shia at a recent LA Lakers game.  Opinions on this new facial hair thing he has going on?

TMZ has pictures of Shia out in Pasadena, and apparently his fingers are still in a splint from the accident over the summer.  At least they don’t look discolored anymore…
