In the newest episode of Hannah Montana, Jake Ryan states that he was up for a role in a movie, but Shia LaBeouf got the part because he was a better choice for the Box Office.

Looks like Transformers: Revenge of the Fallen is tied with Ice Age 3 for number one movie this weekend. Each movie took in 42.5m. Mondays final ticket sales will announce the number one movie for the 4th of July weekend.

Update: Transformers is # 1 for a second week in a row!

Yahoo.com has an article about the critics bashing on Transformers: Revenge of the Fallen. Basically TF2 set a new standard of how a critics word is taken.

Critics “forget what the goal of the movie was. The goal of the movie is to entertain and have fun,” said Rob Moore, vice chairman of Paramount, which is distributing “Transformers” for DreamWorks. “What the audience tells us is, `We couldn’t be more entertained and having more fun.’ They kind of roll their eyes at the critics and say, `You have no idea what you’re talking about.’”

There is truth in those words.

Shia has made People Magazines Hottest Bachelors list again. He’s number three on the list of Sexy & Single Men of 09′. The magazine is now available.

CBS News dubbed Shia the “$2 Billion Man” today, as his movies have made $2 billion over the last six years.

For those who may have doubted Shia’s ability to open a number one movie, Transformers: Revenge of the Fallen made $201 million in its first five days. That’s second only to The Dark Knight for the biggest five-day opening ever.

For those of you who were interested, we have a new tidbit about Shia–his favorite movie is Kramer vs. Kramer.

On a recent interview with Mr. Jimmy Kimmel, Shia talks about his house, his dad, and traveling. He even talks about his mother’s new relationship. This dude is hilarious. You can watch the clip here.
